[Product Question] How long do vitamin c serum’s last before they start being ineffective?

Hi!My local Sephora has the Drunk Elephant Get Even kit in store and I’m really interested in buying it, but I’m just nervous that the vitamin c serum won’t even do anything anymore since the kit dropped in April of 2019 (I believe) and I don’t think they made anymore than those initial ones.
