[Acne] [Routine Help] Help for mom establishing first skincare routine for almost 12-year-old daughter with new acne? Looking for suggestions, thoughts, or maybe just validation.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
First skincare routine for an almost 12-year-old with first breakoutsI'm the mom to a beautiful 11-year-old (12 in one more month), who is having her first skin issues. We are not in full blown puberty yet (no other physical changes yet, though definitely some of the heightened emotions), but clearly were nearing that stage.I've read the community info and understand I should probably start her with just a facial cleanser, mositurizer, and sunblock. I am having flashbacks to the horrible acne I had in my own adolecense and barely restraining myself from throwing the whole kitchen sink at her poor little girl skin, so I think I just need some validation that I'm doing the right thing.I use some Paula's Choice products myself (I'm willing to spend more to avoid animal testing and concerning ingredients, particularly on a still-developing young person). I just ordered her:Paula's Choice Calm Redness Relief CleanserPaula's Choice CALM Redness Relief SPF 30 Mineral Moisturizer for Normal to Oily SkinAnd Paula's Choice CLEAR Oil-Free Moisturizer (for PM, instead of sunscreen)I'm assuming I should start with that and give it a month or two before introducing any spot treatments or anything else? I don't want to irritate her skin. I was thinking about having her just use the cleanser at night and use micellar water instead in the morning.Does that sound like I'm on the right track? Any advice from other parents or people who were recently that age and going through this?So far, her blemishes all seem to be in the t-zone and are papules. No comedones yet, nothing cystic. I found out that she was washing her face with regular body soap, so we may have some skin barrier damage already. She knows not to do that now and is on board with a simple routine. Most of the papules are around her nose ("I look like a cat who's had it's whiskers plucked!") accompanied by general redness. She has a history of sensitive skin from infancy, though it hasn't been much of an issue in recent years.
