[routine help] If I quit Retin A will I lose all the effects?

Hi,So I’ve used Retin A for three years to correct sun damage & it’s done a great job, however I’m wondering if I stop will all my good results be undone and my skin just return to how it was before? Or will I keep the good effects but I just won’t see continual improvement?Thanks in advance
