[Sun Care] Purito Comfy SPF50+ PA++++ (essential oil free version)

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've used this product for about a week now, and I wanted to share my experience with it. To use the correct amount of sunscreen I always every single day use a small scale and measure the exact amount of sunscreen I need to use, which is about 1.38-1.45 grams.I normally prefer chemical sunscreen actives, like Tinosorb S, Uvinal A Plus and Uvinul T150. Physical sunscreens are great for sensitive skin, but often feel too drying on my combination-dry skin, are difficult to wash off in the evening, and of course many leave an unappealing whitecast. I had high hopes for this sunscreen, many reviews said there's absolutely zero whitecast and it doesn't feel drying at all.Ingredients:Very good fragrance free mineral sunscreen with Niacinamide and Asiatica Extracts. On paper it is really good. According the FAQ on the purito website there's about 3% Zinc Oxide and <2% Titanium Dioxide, I think that's a bit low on the Zinc.FeelIt feels very similar to the Purito Green Level Unscented SPF50+ going on. It is a slippery gel-cream like texture. In my opinion it does take too much time for it to dry down, you keep moving it around and it never seems to sink in, but when it does, it does dry down matte, without any stickiness. That is very different than for example the Derma Sun Lotion SPF50 which dries down quickly and is therefore more easy to use the recommended amount, although that remains shiny on skin. Once the Purito has dried down and you rub over it again, it sometimes does pill slightly. It's more matte that the Green Level one, which leaves a slight "healthy glow". It does not sting in the eyes, but it does sting in my neck after shaving, the Green Level did this as well. During the day it doesn't feel as heavy and drying as other mineral sunscreens, but for me it is not hydrating enough on it's own either.WhitecastDespite all the claims saying this is a whitecast free sunscreen, in my opinion that is not true. It does leave quite a visible whitecast. Because it does take such a long to dry down, I also see it can leave streaks and clumps of white residue in hair, it can settle a bit in fine lines too. You really need to take your time to let it dry, and keep rubbing it in, to avoid streaks. On my whitecast scale rating it gets a 2.5 out of 4. See picture hereOverallWell formulated mineral sunscreen, with great actives like Niacinamide and Centella Asiatica extracts, although it is a bit low on Zinc. It is one of the more cosmetically elegant physical sunscreens I tried, that feels lightweight and is not sticky, not as heavy and drying as most physical sunscreens, although I think it is not very suited for very dry skin. It does leave a whitecast, which is visible if this is the last step in your routine, but can be okay if you also use make-up next. So definitely worth a try in my opinion.I've added the sunscreen to my sunscreen list:https://www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAddiction/comments/a1m15a/review_comparison_of_sunscreens_with_tinosorb/
