For years I had a lot of issues with acne no matter what products I tried. I had a notion in my mind that I shouldn’t over wash my face so in the mornings I would wait to wash it until after I was done working out. Some mornings I didn’t get to my workout until later then it was even longer until I washed it. A few months ago I read an article about athletes and skin care and it suggested washing your face before and after working out. This has made all the difference for my acne. I use a very gentle cleanser or micellar water when I wake up, then wash my face after working out with a gentle cleanser and my acne has improved so much. Maybe I’m stating something that everyone already knows, but this was a lightbulb moment and I had to get past the preconceived idea about how many times a day you should wash your face. I hope it helps someone else out there like it has helped me!!
