[Product Question] Shani Darden sold at Sephora now (reformulated?)

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've been curious to try Shani Darden products for years now, because how many celebrities with gorgeous skin praise her and her retinol products (I'm looking at you Jessica Alba, Chrissy Teigen, & Rosie Huntington-Whiteley). I also took note of how simple and short her ingredients list was, and I appreciated that since I have ultra sensitive skin. I was so excited to see that Sephora (Canada) is now selling Shani Darden products, and I thought this would be a great time to finally try it out, but when I started reading the reviews, I noticed the top comment, and now I'm skeptical AF. The ingredients list is a lengthy paragraph long now.The top comment in question:" CULT BUYER BEWARE!BUYER BEWARE - THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN COMPLETELY REFORMULATED. I have been buying this retinol from Shani Darden’s spa for years now. It quickly became a favorite; it’s strong retinol and minimal ingredient list is the reason why I was able to see past that 95$ price tag. On March 9, 2020 I got an email from Shani’s spa letting me know that the price dropped to 88$. With no mention that Retinol Reform has been completely reformulated. I’m assuming the company decided to cut corners after Sephora recently acquired the product. I will be trying this new product out and leaving a review accordingly. Still, I’m pretty disappointed with the lack of transparency. "What are your thoughts? Does anyone here use Shani Darden and have you noticed a difference since the reformulation? Do you think companies should disclose to customers when they change ingredients? Are they legally obligated to in any way? Why do you think Shani Darden didn't?
