[Acne] After a year - I FINALLY solved the cause of my breakouts!

I posted in this sub about 6 months ago looking for ANY help with this persistent acne that was mostly cystic and mostly around my chin that I have struggled with for right at a year. (I'll link the original thread with the pictures/backstory at the bottom) I tried Tret, all the different acids, silk pillow cases, different moisturizers/cleansers/makeups/not wearing any make up...the whole nine yards. I even went to the beach (always does the trick) and it barely helped at all.So come quarantine, I was as bare faced as it gets for weeks at a time. Before, when I "didn't wear makeup" I still had mascara on because my lashes are blonde. In quarantine, I stopped wearing mascara....every bump I had healed, and I got no new ones. Thinking it couldn't POSSIBLY be my mascara, I tried putting it on one more time. Overnight I got 3 new cystic bumps on my chin. Since that day, I switched mascaras from Lash Paradise to Essence, I have not had one single breakout in a full month now. IT WAS MY DANG MASCARA THE WHOLE TIME! I would have never known if it hadn't been for quarantine as I never go that long without wearing mascara.
