Should I sue? What can I do? Botched MohsI’m so upset and need advice. I had a small (pimple sized) sore on my face that wouldn’t heal and sure enough, it was skin cancer. No worries, right? My derm scheduled an appointment for Mohs surgery. Well, instead of taking the usual 2-3 passes for cancer, my doc took 5 tries to get everything out. When it comes time to stitch me back she says I won’t like the scar and I can just tell she is nervous to do it. She suggests that I can have a plastic surgeon finish putting me back together.The next day I go to the plastic surgeon and it honestly seems like he’s on drugs or something, but I just want my face to be sewn up. He keeps changing the plan on how to fix my face. The end result is this crazy jagged line on my jaw. (See horrifying image)Anyway, while I don’t think the plastic surgeon did a great job, I feel like the dermatologist botched the original Mohs. I’m going to request my patient records and get a second opinion, but I feel like there’s NO REASON I should look like this right now and I’m so sad.What would you guys do?
