[Acne] Finally booked an appointment with a Dermatologist

Hello! I just wanted to ask a few questions since this is my first time consulting a dermatologist.First, Can I just clarify that it's okay for a 16 year old with acne to consult a dermatologist for routine help and find out if I have hormonal acne or not? My father keeps reassuring me that it'll go away soon and that I shouldn't go to a dermatologist, while my mom on the other hand, is very supportive and helped me find a dermatologist.Second, what should I prepare for? what will the dermatologist ask me?I finally got the courage to beg for my mom to get me an appointment with a dermatologist and I couldn't be more thankful at how easily she approved. I only use two skincare products as of now, which is a cleanser and a moisturizer. I wanted to wait for the dermatologist to help me with my routine so I don't further aggravate my existing acne. Just last 2 weeks ago, my skin was literally glowing and clearing up. Now, it's gone to sh/t again and I just feel so sad about it that I cry about it to my older sister almost everyday. I hope going to a dermatologist will help my skin.
