I need to take a mood stabilizer for my mental illness and anticonvulsants work the best. Lamictal and Lithium triggered my cystic acne though, especially Lithium. The Lithium acne was severe, unfortunately. What has worked for you? I was considering Trileptal but I read that acne was a big side effect and I can't deal with any more scars of my face.I use azelaic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and Cetaphil.
