Beauty Tips For Body Care
Long time lurker, first time poster.I was a baby lurker on this sub and y'all convinced me to get into it, so I did so by rustling up a Mary Kay botanical effects cleanser, an Elf toner and the Elf daily moisturizer.Good instincts, terrible execution lol.I dropped the toner quickly (so much alcohol), but that moisturizer... I thought my face was itchy after use because I wasn't using enough! Eventually I dropped this too, when it made painful red patches appear on my skin.I decided to just lurk and soak up everything I could learn. I got a cleanser that actually worked for my skin and stuck with it. I did the skin type test. I started my first ever excel sheet to find my problem ingredient. And now, today, I used a proper moisturizer for the first time in my life. And then I started tapping my face. And I said, almost exactly:"Oh! oh. Ohhhh. Oh this is a moisturizer. Oh wow. Oh man. oh, this is dangerous. oh wow." ..... "So this is what they meant by bouncy!"Which is a very long-winded way to say thank you for all the answers to my many questions and the patience to teach 💕I'm sure I'll have a lot more. Already been eyeing some azelaic acid 👀(The cleanser is Simple kind to skin foaming cleanser and my "dangerous" new moisturizer is the Neutrogena hydroboost gel-cream for sensitive skin. :D Both were recs from HG threads. I guess this is technically a product review? Didn't mean for it to be.)
