Beauty Tips For Body Care
A little background info: Apparently the inflamed, red, painful to the touch pimples that pop up whenever I get my period are cystic pimples and my dumbass only realised this after I got a little bit of scarring from the previous 2 cystic pimples I've popped. To be honest, at the back of my mind I knew they were cystic but I just assumed I could pop them like how I normally pop my small random pimples (yes, I am a serial popper...worse I use my FINGERS...). Now that I know more or less how to deal with cystic pimples after an hour's worth of researching on this sub, I have a few questionsI've gathered that warm compresses help coax the pimple to head aka the pus (white stuff??) shows up and ice compresses help with calming down the inflammation. However, I've read from a comment that ice compresses might do more harm than good? Is this true?I've read that Tea Tree oil helps too but what exactly does it do? And secondly, it has to be diluted, so how do you dilute tea tree oil? Moreover, do you apply the tea tree oil before the pimple comes to head and the pus shows up or can it be applied after it comes to head?I've read about popping the pimple with a sterilised needle and to be honest, I'm scared to do that. Is it okay to just slap on a hydrocolloid bandage and just let that do its work?Additionally, regarding the hydrocolloid bandage, I know it sucks out the pus out. So normally do you use one and then let the pimple heal on its own? Or do I have to put it on regularly until the pimple heals? After I have lanced the pimple and plastered on a hydrocolloid bandage, what are some things do you? Is there an aftercare routine you use in order to let the pimple heal without or minimal scarring?
