[Product question] I think my cerave lotion moisturizer is breaking me out and I don't know why

At night I only cleanse and moisturize so there's no way something else is causing this. Moreover, it stings a bit after I apply it on damp skin does that mean it's working ? I'm like new to this whole skincare thing and I dont know what to do
