Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello,I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Avène's mineral sunscreens.I recently bought the Mineral Lotion SPF 50+ (100ml/~3.4oz), they also have the Mineral Cream SPF 50+ (50ml/~1.7oz). When I asked the salesperson at the pharmacy if there is any major difference between the products, she said no. So I bought the lotion as it was cheaper considering the tube's size.Later on I found out it was actually intended to be used on the body and the cream was meant for the face (according to Avène's website). They have the same ingredients, but I guess since their consistency is meant to be different (the cream is meant to be lighter than the lotion) the ingredients are in different proportions?I tried the lotion on my face - there's no irritation, my skin seems to tolerate it well, there's a noticeable white cast, but since my only experience with a mineral sunscreen is using the Purito Comfy Water Sun Block (very minimal white cast), I guess I have a skewed perspective.I'm just wondering if I will be okay using it on my face, as I'm a bit worried about it potentially clogging my pores or leading to breakouts because of its slightly thicker consistency?I have normal skin with some oiliness and blackheads on the nose.Here's a link for the product for reference
