Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi, I used a throwaway for this for obvious reasons. First off, receipts. Now I've had some level of butt acne since puberty, but for some reason it went entirely off the rails in my late 20s. It was really discouraging and severely affected my self esteem/confidence. Especially since i had finally gotten my facial routine figured out and my skin was looking better than ever everywhere but on my true best feature. So i scoured reddit for advice. Here's my routine:PM/After shower (i shower at night but if i happen to shower in the AM i just do the AM routine because I don't like the feeling of sticky bum from lotion all day):European Wax Center ingrown hair padsnow, honestly i can't attest to how much these work with hyperpigmentation/getting rid of existing butt acne, but i think they have helped with preventing assne. I get the ones with the red top, not the cbd ones. The ordinary rose hip oil, The ordinary buffet, and the ordinary retinol .5% in squaleneCerave lotion on the tubI mix the oils and lotion together and slather it all over my dumper.AM:Humphreys witch hazel and the ordinary glycolic acid 7% on a cotton padI put this on while doing my face stuff and let it sitThe ordinary buffet, the ordinary azelaic acid suspension 10%, the ordinary niacinamide 10%Again mix these together and slather. That's it. I can't be assed, literally and figuratively, to do a solid routine so i try and get as much done in one step as possible. Also i promise I'm not like a, The Ordinary brand ambassador, i just like their products/price point and they just seem to work for me.General:I switched to wearing exclusively cotton boxers to bed, and bought a big pack of men's hanes boxersI try not to hang out on my ass as much. This was also part of a goal of getting in better shape, but even when I am just having a lazy day, i try to lay about on my stomach some as well. You have to commit to this. There were SO many times where I was just like, "ugh fuck this i don't want to have to deal with it". But i did it anyway and i can attest to the fact that it's worth the 60 seconds of effort in the am and pm.In the shower i just use the neutrogena acne wash on itOnce in a blue moon, when using it on my face, I'll do a treatment with the ordinary AHA 30% BHA 2% blood stuff everyone loves.I'm testing out using alpha arbutin from (you guessed it) the ordinary next to help with the more stubborn hyperpigmentation.I know it sounds like a lot of products and it is. Tbh i don't think I can tell you what one or two things are the real game changers, since i just tried a lot at once. If you're strapped for cash starting out and i had to say just a few, i probably would say the European wax pads for preventing would be the best place to start, and the retinol/niacinamide next. Then just add from there based off whatever you think is best for you.Lastly, thanks to all of you wonderful ladies, gents, and nonbinary beauties, because I would not have achieved my assne free life without you. Almost all of the things above were from suggestions on this subreddit so thank you so much for posting and giving advice.
