[Product Question] Am I the only one who thinks cerave in the tub is a terrible moisturizer?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
The title really says it all. I tried cerave for over a year because this sub praised it for extremely dry and dehydrated skin (ME!!) but I always just felt like it was sitting on top of the skin and never penetrating. No matter how much I put on and how much HA/water I layered underneath it I always had that tight feeling and flakey spots. But since everyone raved about how it cured their dry/dehydrated skin I thought I thought it was just me and something I would always have to deal with.Fast forward to last month when I treated myself to Kiehl’s Ultra Cream during their Black Friday sale and it’s changed my skin completely! Only a dab keeps me feeling hydrated all day and my skin has become so plump and smooth without all the grease. Such a different experience from cerave!Obviously cerave works for many since it’s so highly praise here so idk why it wasn’t working for me. Anyone else have this experience??Edit: I don’t think I was clear enough in my original post but when I say Cerave is a “terrible” moisturizer I mean in MY experience. Like I said, I know a lot of people find success with it and the fact that’s it’s HG status for many shows it is actually a great product in general. It just really didn’t work for me personally and was wondering if anyone else had the same experience since I felt like the only one who disliked it.
