[product question] I was gifted Skinceuticals CE Ferulic for Christmas and this has got to be the least cosmetically elegant formula of vitamin C I’ve tried. Can I use it at night and still get the same effects?

My skin is soooo tacky and this smell is AWFUL. I thought it was going to be a dream to apply!! I have dark marks and hyperpigmentation which I’m hopeful this serum can help with. Will using it at night undermine its efficacy? (Not sure I can handle this smell all day!)
