[Skin Concerns] Zinc Pyrithione completely cleared my blackheads and purified my pores

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I don't know if this post will get any attention, but I wish I could shout out loud so that everyone dealing with acne and more importantly blackheads and rough skin texture can hear it.I was suffering with acne on the face and back for 20+ years, since my teens. I tried endless number of remedies, lotion, potions... and nothing worked, either at all, or not as much as I wanted. There were the points where I would give up, thinking that nothing can help. Two years ago I saw a Dr. Dray's video on zinc pyrithione (a common ingredient in anti-dandruff shampoos), where she explained in detail condition that many people recognise as fungal acne. She also said that it is more common on the back. Although my acne did not look like fungal, I bought a bottle of Head and Shoulders and tried it. It did not just clear my acne, but also resolved the bumpy texture of my back skin. That is when I decided to try it on the face as well. For a year now I have been using a zinc pyrithione shampoo as a face mask. I apply a thick layer on the clean skin, still damp, wait 10 mins and then rinse. Although it helps with acne (including "maskne"), it keeps me free from blackheads on the nose and the chin.Oftentimes I see people ask how to get rid of blackheads, especially on the nose. In my case nothing has been as effective as zinc pyrithione. Using PC BHA liquid every day did a fraction of what I achieved with just an anti-dandruff shampoo. My blackheads are gone, my pores are purified and my skin is no longer bumpy under my fingers. As zinc pyrithione shampoos are very cheap, I think it is worth trying for everyone dealing with blackheads. It's effects on dandruff and somewhat on acne is well known and usually talked about, but it may have some effects beyond these. It least speaking from my own experience.
