Beauty Tips For Body Care
Just to preface, I've had acne for the better part of my teenage years but it got especially bad when I went to university. Now, I can confidently say that I've managed to tame it, as I'm going on a couple months now on this routine and have had very limited acne. I'd like to share some of the biggest contributors to my success and to hopefully inspire some people.Firstly, I changed to a cetaphil gentle clenser, the one with the super gross consistency. It felt really weird at first, as if it wasn't even cleaning anything. After a while though it felt normal. I never knew that clenser made such a huge difference.Secondly, omega 3 supplements. Given that I don't eat seafood, I decided to give these a shot. Immediately, all my acne disappeared for a week or two, but then it came back again. Though, not with the same severity as before. In combination with the omega 3, sudocrem, a diaper rash cream, helped completely obliterate any cystic acne on my face. It's a zinc oxide cream, which helps reduce inflammation. This stuff came in this dense tub and lasts forever. Great value.Lastly, the nail in the coffin were zinc supplements. I read online that it should be safe to take up to 40mg a day, but all I could find online were 50mg supplements. So I usually cut them in half and take a half a day, roughly 25mg, just to be well within the safe range. I think that this has been the single largest contributor to preventing my acne from coming back.I hope this post helps open up some avenues that you guys haven't considered. Just felt the need to share what worked for me and maybe help a person or two out.
