[acne] working in fast food, would using skincare products make things worse?

Hi, it's my first time posting here so please bear with me.as the title suggests, I'm currently working part time in fast food and my skin has gotten worse over covid and getting maskne, this is my first time getting so much acne.I'm considering using adapalene and a benzoyl peroxide wash to deal with my acne, what are things I should look out for? Or are there any alternatives in medication?Will provide pictures if requested
