Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey guys! So I had pretty bad acne on my back and chest when I was younger and still breakout here and there. Since my countries been heavily in restrictions due to COVID for a while now I’ve been getting more and more into skincare and managed to use at home derma-rolling (I’ve heavily researched into doing it at home and have also chatted with a dermatologist) to get rid of all the hyperpigmentation on my chest since its obviously reachable but can’t do the same for my back as its not reachable and because I still sometimes have 3-4 breakouts monthly. I’ve been on accutane before and it isn’t something I’d do again personally combined with seeing multiple dermatologists growing up and ALL of them trying to force me into taking accutane every. single. time. and offering no other solution (I had a doctor walk-out after a minute or so after having been on a waitlist for over a year just because I said no to accutane). I’ve somehow managed to keep my breakouts at bay at home with prescription Benzoyl Peroxide since they are not even bad enough for me to have taken Accutane in the first place (most people besides me cannot even notice).THE ROUTINE: For my back I’ve been using The Ordinary’s glycolic acid and Reviva Lab’s kojic acid in the AM and The Inkey List retinol and 2% Hydroquinone (again, something I’ve researched into) in the PM. Is there any products I should add to the routine or discontinue to fast track the process? I’ve been in the process of getting rid of these scars for over a year and would like to have a hyperpigmentation free back for the summer!Edit: I’m also thinking of getting one or two professional microneedling/chemical peel sessions as well. So thoughts on this would be great too!Edit: forgot to mention I also use Kojie San Kojic Acid soap in the shower!
