I just found out that I’ve been using spray SPF wrong. You’re meant to spray it into your hands? What’s the point of that? [sun care]

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I use a typical gel-cream SPF daily, and when I’m not leaving the house, I just wash my hands, give my acne-probe face a little dab of micellar water and reapply. But I’ve been using spray aerosol SPF for about a year now, to reapply when I’m out and about, and can’t/don’t feel comfortable using my hands to slather on cream in a public bathroom (or if I’m wearing makeup and can’t really slather stuff on top). It’s not the most effective but it’s a lot more effective than just not reapplying at all.Normally I do a bit of a duck and roll to avoid inhaling any SPF, and even sometimes stick some tissue up my nostrils (lo) to avoid spray SPF getting up there. I know it’s bad to inhale this stuff and after a few coughing attacks, I quickly learned to take precautions and hold your breath before you spray.However. I’m just now finding out that you aren’t even meant to spray SPF on your face? You’re meant to spray it on your hands and apply to your face? Does anyone actually do that? Because it seems to totally defeat the purpose of using a spray to avoid touching your face.I’ve looked into those SPF powders but in Ireland, they seem to be completely non-existent. Does anyone else actually spray the SPF on their face?
