Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hopefully this isn’t too weird, but I would like some help creating a faux “skincare routine” for my 4.5 year old son. Before you guys think I’m appalling, let me explain. My son loves copying what I do during the day. I’ve been a SAHM his entire life, and that’s pretty much how it goes. I love my skin care and makeup, and it’s impossible to not do those things in front of him. Now he is interested in joining me when I wash my face but there is no way I would EVER put any products on his skin, especially mine. While I do use some mild cleansers, most of my routine consists of products meant to target more stubborn set backs like hyperpigmentation, breakouts, and rough texture. Not exactly something I want to share with him. When I speak about all the “magic stuff” I put on my face, I have always been careful not to use language that implies that my skin is “bad”, “ugly”, or needs to be fixed, so it’s kinda solidified in his head that this is something that he can also partake in. And honestly I don’t mind that.My question is, can anyone recommend and super super mild soap or cleanser that would be safe for a 4.5 year old to put on his face? A moisturizer? Or a fun way where I can fake a routine? I was thinking of getting some dropper bottles and maybe just filling them with something safe/water since the droppers are almost his favorite part. If it helps, my son is pretty fair skinned and easily turns red in the cheeks when hot or excited.TLDR: help me come up with a faux skincare routine that I can share with my 4.5 year old son so he feels included in my day to day routines.
