[Review] Neutrogena Invisible Daily Defense Sunscreen Face Serum SPF 60+

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I saw this Neutrogena Invisible Sunscreen Face Serum SPF 60+ in the store one day and was intrigued. It's noted to be oxybenzone free. Neutrogena helioplex is one of the few U.S. sunscreens that I do tend to trust a bit more than the average (along with SuperGoop, EltaMD...) based on what I've read (you do you, though), but I've had issues with redness, stinging/burning eyes, etc. with their chemical formula as well as issues with white cast and general bad texture on some of their other sunscreens. So based on the fact that this was oxybenzone free, invisible, a serum texture, SPF 60+ with helioplex, I decided to try it out!I've been using it for over 2 weeks now, and here are my thoughts:It really is invisible. This is a great sunscreen for POC or anyone concerned with white cast. The texture is thin and a bit liquidy, like a serum. If putting on the recommended amount it feels a bit 'wet' at first but dries down quickly.Leaves a natural finish when dry. I wouldn't say it's shiny or matte. It can feel a bit oily when you start to sweat. Label says sweat proof 80 minutes; but I would generally not use this for physical activity that may induce sweating, such as a jog or a hike, or even trotting around town on a 100 degree Fahrenheit day for too long, because it feels like it will slide right off.I have experienced a *bit* of stinging around the eyes. I have opted to start avoiding applying liberally in the eye area and using an SPF concealer around my eyes for added protection.I have tried this with and without a hydrating serum/moisturizer underneath. It applies fine both ways; I prefer to have at least the hydrating serum underneath first but if I'm feeling lazy I just wake up and put this sunscreen on and it works great!I emailed customer service to ask about UVAPF and got nothin'. However I found this article mentioning a different product, which was somewhat reassuring.Overall I would repurchase. For some reason it's cheaper at Target ($14.99 for 1.7 oz) than at anywhere else ($17.99 for 1.7 oz) but the price is reasonable imo. I usually use P20 Kids SPF 50+, but it takes long to ship and I don't want to wear that heavy of a sunscreen every day, so I'm glad to have both on my shelf.
