[Misc.] Why is it that my skin is better when I'm sick?

And by sick I don't mean a common cold runny nose but still doing daily tasks type of sick. I mean severe flu, stay in bed except when it's time to go to the bathroom, can't stand on your feet type of sick. All acne seems to clear and pores unclog everything just looks great after a few days of that. How so? Is it only me?
