I was looking to incorporate a vitamin C serum into my routine. Personally, I prefer l-ascorbic acid rather than derivatives. I've used the By Wishtrend Pure Vitamin C 21.5 Advanced Serum before but it wasn't something I could use daily as the concentration was too strong for me. I've also used the Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum (gift from my sister) but I wanted a less expensive alternative.I found out about Geek & Gorgeous from this sub. I was a bit worried that the serum would go bad in transit due to the heat but it arrived in perfect condition. Though if I knew about the upcoming heatwave when I ordered this on the 19th, I definitely wouldn't have purchased this.The serum is clear and I keep this in my fridge to prolong the shelf life.Similar to other water-based l-ascorbic acid serums, it smells like hotdog water.My face felt slightly tacky upon application but the serum layers well with other products.Notes:No BS Beauty on Youtube tested the pH and it was little bit above 3 which is in line with the product's claim of a pH between 3.2 and 3.4.They shipped using DHL Express so the package arrived within a few days.For Canadians: No taxes/customs charges upon delivery but my order was less than $20 CAD.
