[Skin Concerns] Why do I keep getting itchy, mosquito bite-like spots that appear throughout the day and go away on their own?

They appear randomly on my face even when there are no mosquitoes to be found. This has been an almost every day occurrence recently but it used to happen quite often before too. Does anyone else get these? What are they and how do I stop them from happening?I live in the tropics and didn’t have these as often when I was living in a more temperate country.
