I’ve been trying to smooth it out for years now (me being completely oblivious to actual routines before) and it’s been annoying that nothing was working enough for me to be happy with it. Some 2% salicylic acid product didn’t do much of anything after a few months. Different body soaps and cleansers made no difference. Then I tried CeraVe foaming cleanser 4% benzoyl peroxide and I started making actual progress. It was working to knock out about 90% of acne on my face and 50-75% of my acne on my ass, but just not enough to make it fully clear. For some reason I never thought to just just try a stronger version and went on for several months with just 4%. When I ran out of it yesterday, my mom found a 10% one and I thought it would dry me out and not really do anything different. I was just wrong lol.Never looked in the mirror before and seen it this clear. I don’t know why it never occurred to me that a stronger product would work better, but we all have our moments. It also doesn’t feel overly dry as I usually use coconut oil or Eucerin lotion after using and I exfoliate a couple times a week. All I do is rub in and leave on for 2-3 minutes before showering once or twice a day.I'm just happy about it so I thought I'd make a quick post.
