Beauty Tips For Body Care
Every now and then, I get these bumps inbetween my eyebrows - usually one or two at most. They're not red or anything, but you can tell that there's something under. Eventually a fairly large, hard sebum plug (almost like a tiny pearl) will come out after a lot of attempts at extraction (often bloody). It leaves a huge hole but fully clears itself up in a day or two if the thing comes out. If not, the wound will heal and look the same as before - with the plug still under there. Its always such a gross experience and takes days before the thing actually comes out. I've tried to leave them alone (not pick) but they just stay there. It seems like the only thing to clear them out is to quite literally dig deep. I currently have one that has been on my face since around Feb/March, and it has not cleared up.My skin type is combo ( more on the dry side), but with no other issues. I've tried using Paula's Choice BHA toner to clear them out, as well as other aha/bha/retinol products and various spot treatments. No matter what I use (same products for months/years), they'll pop up every now and then.If anyone has had similar experiences or tips for how to get these things out, please let me know. Picking often leads to nothing but blood and an unsightly mark for a week or so. Thank you so much!
