Beauty Tips For Body Care
I have hormonal acne that has been tough on me lately with my stress levels and I get a few fresh breakouts a week in the same spots. I currently use only Cerave hyaluronic acid serum and SPF in the morning, and at night I cleanse my face with Bioderma micellar water, Cerave gentle foaming cleanser and every other night I alternate between using my Cerave resurfacing retinol and the ordinary hyaluronic acid and using The ordinary niacinimide with The ordinary Azelaic acid. I always follow with the cerave moisturizing cream. Once a week I use an AHA chemical peel and moisturize and I actually did start using the zitsticka face masks once a week (GAME changer. Well worth the money) and always use hydrocolloid patches on active spots but feel like all they do is protect them from me touching them (which is fine)I’ve been trying to find a good Vitamin C as the last one I tried broke me out really bad. I’m also trying to up my retinol percentage to Differin, I have had no issues with any of the retinols I’ve used so far besides acne purging.I get really deep and painful breakouts in the same spot of my face (chin/jaw) and I’m really good about cleaning things that may touch it, not touching my face, using ice, etc. I’ve modified my diet, my lifestyle, and nothing seems to be helping - sometimes they’re so painful and horrible looking I won’t leave my house. Every dermatologist I’ve seen has had nothing helpful for me. I have a lot of pigmentation from fading acne spots and would love for them to go away as well, but am really focusing on presentation rn. It’s been a painful journey but I’m trying to find what works for me - any recommendations? Am I doing too much? Will it be safe to up my level of retinol ? Would adding a vitamin C in the morning be too many actives? Thank you!
