[Product question] Salicylic acid body wash or salicylic acid lotion for body

which one would be better for fighting body acne, i’m curious about a SA body wash because i’m gonna rinse it off pretty fast and not sure if i will get the benefits, a lotion will stay on my body over night, so that may help more than a SA body wash?
