Beauty Tips For Body Care
After a lottttt of thought and trial and error I have come to the conclusion that my skin is dehydrated. With that however, I also have a huge problem with closed comedones. I'm still not certain if the CCs were caused by dehydration or something else. (Please look at my post history for a very long post about how this all came about)Anyways my current dilemma is this: Do I stop using all actives while trying to repair my moisture barrier?Currently I am only using Silk Naturals 8% lactic AHA at night. I'm so afraid to stop using all actives as I don't want the CCs to get any worse but at the same time I think it may be drying my skin and making them worse. Can anyone who has overcome this problem of CCs and dehydration offer any advice on the best way to fix this?My currently routine is all over the place as I keep trying to do something different to fix this.AM: either cleanse with Cerave foaming or wipe with bioderma sensibo micellar water, apply Clinique moisture surge. Make up- Revlon colorstayPM: before gym, remove makeup with bioderma micellar water. After gym, OCM with mineral oil or albolene, then either cleanse with Cerave or wipe remaining oil off with bioderma. Silk Naturals AHA, wait 30+ mins then Clinique moisture surge.Sometimes I will skip the AHA and add a drop or 2 of neem oil to my moistuizer instead. I'm trying to not use Cerave foaming as much as I can as it seems to be stripping my skin.
