Beauty Tips For Body Care
I was reading up on cetyl alcohol on Wikipedia, where it stated that cetyl alcohol is commonly derived from palmitic acid (obtained from palm oil). I've read that it can also be obtained from petroleum, but cannot find a source other than "the internet". It used to be derived from whale fat, so I guess it could be worse...As some of you know, palm oil has devastating effects on the environment as well as on humans living and working in those environments.I'm not trying to harp on anyone, just trying to inform. Palm oil is found in a lot of cosmetics and food products. We can't make everything better, but voting with your money by being informed of your choices and impact as a consumer can help.
