[Acne] A good cleanser that doesn't dry and irritate my skin making it red and dead looking?

For the past year I have been using Sodium Sulfacetamide 9% - Sulfur 4% Wash. In the past whenever it became winter and I was using any cleanser my face would get very irritated and red. The same thing happened with this. I actually stopped using it and found that even if I just put it on my forehead and chin my cheeks would still get irritated. I got so tired of it I stopped using products all together. My skin went back to normal except after I shave. I've also eliminated dairy and started eating healthier. Right now I'm working on drinking more water and next I will start exercising. I still have mild acne and would like to clear it up and also prevent it from getting worse. I need suggestions for a gentle cleanser that won't make my face red! I also use Cetaphil oil control moisturizer but have stopped using it when I quit the face wash. Suggestions for other moisturizers would also be helpful.I've been thinking about Paula's choice's kit http://www.paulaschoice.com/shop/Clear-Acne-Treatments/_/Clear-Regular-Strength-Kit/but I remember benzoyl peroxide irritated my skin a lot.
