What happened:Pharmacy now wants to charge $151.29 a month for my birth control Ortho-tri-cyclen Lo. Been taking it for 14 years for acne. I've tried generics before and have terrible rashes. My body is sensitive to all medications. I'm currently giving a different similar pill a chance and simultaneously got an infection in my armpit for a microscopic cut from shaving. So they prescribed antibiotics. The antibiotics made the tiny breakout the new bc pill was causing go away. I've literally never had a clear face for this long in my life. Thank you antibiotics!Problem:They suggested a antibiotic to take daily for acne. Do I live acne free, and just deal with my birth control being less effective for pregnancy and my immune system getting used to antibiotics? Long term antibiotic use cannot be good. Ugh.
