[Acne] Popped a pimple, white plug didn't come out, used a hydrocolloid and it seemed to heal over and trap the plug, big red bump leftover

I had a clogged pore (I think? It was a small white bump, not painful) on my upper lip for a few weeks and it started turning into a big, painful, red pimple a few days ago. Yesterday it finally turned white and was ready to pop so I did. I could see into the hole it left and the hard white plug was still inside. It was too painful and deep to squeeze out so I left it and put a hydrocolloid bandage on it and hoped that would suck it out. Left it on for about 24 hours, took it off before I showered today and I think it just healed right over it. There was no plug sticking on the bandage, it looked like normal skin and bled a tiny bit. There's still a big red raised bump that hurts a little when I press on it. I put another one on after my shower but I don't think it'll do anything.Has anyone had this happen? Is this a scar now? Will it stay this way for a long time? Will the plug thing eventually cause a new pimple and maybe I'll be able to get it out that time? Or maybe it gets sucked back into the body and the bump will shrink slowly? Any advice or personal experiences would be great. Thank you.
