Beauty Tips For Body Care
photos from August/September 2015 and now please excuse my hair!! I always take these right as I wake up or right before I go to sleep so hair is not the best looking haha ;)Just wanted to say thank you to all of you lovely people in this subreddit, your collective knowledge and advice has made a huge difference in how I approach caring for my skin! I had great skin all through my high school years, but once I hit 20 things kind of fell apart. In the photos from last fall, you can see I had cystic pimples on my temple/cheek area, forehead, and chin... they were super painful, bumpy, and once they resolved I would always have POE/PIH scars left behind. So basically it sucked! I started using harsher and harsher products thinking I could scour away my acne somehow... needless to say it didn't work. So! After doing the research and a fair bit of experimentation, I'm happy to say that my acne is in a much more manageable state! Mostly just waiting for my scars to fade at this point. I still get the odd PMS pimple, but not much I can do about that :)Thanks again! If anyone has any recommendations for my routine it would be much appreciated.Current Routine Skin type: Dry, very sensitiveAM: - CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser - CeraVe AM moisturizer - 2-3 drops of rosehip seed oilPM: - Oil Cleanse to remove makeup (1 part Jojoba + 2 parts Mineral oil) - CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser (or First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser if I'm wearing especially tenacious makeup) - CeraVe PM moisturizer - First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream - 1-2 drops of rosehip seed oil + 1-2 drops of argan oilOccasional / As Needed: - Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque - Dr.G Brightening Peeling Gel
