Hi SCA!I have recently started using vitamin C serum (Mad Hippie) in hopes of building collagen under some pitting scars, for color correction, and for antioxidant/sun protective properties.I have read that one should wait to apply BHA/AHA for about 15 min after applying vit. C so that the ascorbic acid does not become biologically inactive due to low pH here. I am not using any acids at the moment, however my moisturizer (EltaMD AM Therapy) does contain a small amount of BHA (salicylic acid).I don't like to wait more than a couple minutes between vit. C and moisturizer because it makes me dry out. What do you all think?Thanks for your input!
