[Personal] My skin has improved a lot since January, but I still get just as upset when I get a breakout.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi SCA. My skin in January was pretty bad, fungal acne breakouts on both temples, hormonal breakouts all along jawline, and breakouts from not cleaning my glasses enough on nose and cheek bones. It was rough, I woke up every day feeling upset when I saw more cysts and white heads.Things started improving when I switched BC in January, got on Spiro in March, and Curology in April. Now, my skin is healing, and fairing okay. There's a lot of PIE/scarring on my temples and jawline but slowlyyyy getting better.I don't break out every day now, but I definitely break out near my period. Right now I have a honking pimple in the middle of my nose, and two on my temples, and two on my chin. This is a hugehugehuge improvement, but I still am getting just as upset.Months ago, I thought that I would feel so much better if a couple pimples were all I had to deal with. I saw others post images about their acne on this sub and wish I had their skin, because I would be so much happier and they shouldn't be complaining. Now that my acne has 80% cleared up, and I don't wake up to 2-5 new whiteheads a day, I still don't feel better.I guess my point of this long rant is, no matter what stage your acne is in, or how bad it is, it affects us all the same. Saying "my acne is worse than yours so you shouldn't feel bad" isn't helpful to anyone. I wish I felt better about my skin now, but I have to just keep reminding myself of the progress I've made and that acne is just acne and I'm on the right path.
