LINKTo ProductTo begin I will tell you all a little about my skin.I have combination skin I have had acne since I hit puberty and am now 28 I have mild eczema I get both deep cystic acne and regular white heads along with closed comedones and even black heads so I get almost no cystic acne since I started Zinc (accept near my time of the month)I use a prescription Retinoid BP 10% Antibiotic Gel Perscription (This damaged my skin no longer use) Antibiotic face pads (also prescription) Witch Hazel Salicylic acid Face wash 2.5% BP Spot treatment (for active only) I will soon be adding a AHA for scars and the closed comedones (yay Purging...)So as you may probably guess from my list of products, my skin can get very dry... and then suddenly very oily.I used a heavy duty moisturizer to fix the initial damage these products caused (mostly the Retinoid and the Gel I stopped using)But after I purged and the major damage was fixed I had to switch moisturizers because the one I was using was to strong and was causing my progress to reverse.So on a whim I bought Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel.REVIEWLet me tell you, this stuff is LIGHT. I have never used a moisturizer this light weight that is this cheep.ProsVery light weightNo oil for those who are sensitive to it (like me)Does not make skin oily or very shiny (little shiny)It cools and calms red and irritated skinFeels good when applying (if skin is not damaged)This product did not cause me to purgeSmells really goodConsIt really means a TOUCH of moisture so not great for very dry skinIf you are having a dry period you might have to reapply every couple hours for a couple of daysIf you are currently purging or your skin is sensitive from another treatment it will sting when applied, but it still calms the skin directly after stingingSo for me it is an over all positive review. Good product for light moisture when your skin is not dry enough for heavy things.It personally did not cause me to purge or have any increase in acne at all.I found it very useful when some of my old acne (like flat scabs) would be shedding a lot of skin because of the Retinoid caused skin turn over. It helped keep the flaky skin look to a minimum and allowed the dead skin to come off without causing more damage, although I did have to apply it a lot during those times.Over all in the category of light weight moisturizer I give this product aA-
