For a while now I've had a thin, yet hard (a bit like a piece of nail)... something that grows out of my arm.This was the best photo I could take of it; it looks a bit frayed on one end - that's the thicker-looking part - from where I spent some time trying to get hold of it it with the tweezers to get it out.It's approx. 2-3mm long, and no thicker than a hair.I first had it a few years ago in a different spot on my arm. I felt something hard poke out of my arm, something that was less than 1mm big, and when I pulled it out, something like in the picture came out: a long, white, hard thing. It came back three times in that spot, and the last time I pulled it out, the bottom of it was a bit thicker and teardrop-shaped. It didn't come back after that.Now the same thing is happening in another spot on my arm (a couple of inches away form the original spot), and I've pulled it out 4-5 times now and it keeps coming back.EDIT to add: there's no redness, bump, infection, or anything else that's not normal on my arm.I've tried googling what this could be, but the only thing I found is a forum where people ask the same question, but no one has an actual answer.Any ideas as to what it might be?
