[Acne] Finally figured out why I kept getting cystic acne for years

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey guys, thought I'd post my findings here in case someone else has similar skin or ran into the same issues as me.I've always had terrible skin, and I tried my best to live with this curse but upon researching for hours and testing different products, I have compiled the following advice:Always check your products on reputed websites. Beautypedia and CosDNA are amazing sites. Personally, CosDNA was a game-changer due to its systematic breakdown of ingredients, labelling of potential irritants and acne inducing components.Always patch test (I won't elaborate this as it is the mantra of this sub)Make sure you check ALL products you use on your skin for irritants. I found out that I cannot use most conditioners due to their inclusion of fatty alcohols. Using CosDNA, you should check all your products to see what could be wrong.Keep in mind, not all the sub's recommended products are infallible. I learnt this the hard way by using Cerave moisturizer for nearly a year and not realizing that I was breaking out due to the Cetyl and Cetearyl alcohols in these moisturizers. All else fails, look to the Acne.org regimen. Granted it does have its pitfalls in that you need to follow the regimen religiously. However for me nothing works better than 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide for eradicating acne, so if you're really desperate, take a look at it!That's it! Hope that you guys find this as useful as I did! :)
