[Acne] re occurring painful big pimples under arm pit , 5 weeks after trimming hair .

The pain is super bad and it hurts when I put my arm down. I don't have time right now to post a picture but I am also embarrassed to do so. It is a pink pimple and they are red topped and it is very painful and hurts they usually go away in a full week or longer what can I do to help?
