I saw a dermatologist due to back acne that stayed for years. He took one look at me and said it's not going away.The reason for that, he said, is that the proportion of oleic fatty acid to the palmitic fatty acid never changed past puberty, as is normal. Due to this, the sebum remains hard, instead of liquid, and cannot be simply washed off. This clogs the skin, and even minor contaminants become massive infections.According to him, there is no cure or workaround, except a temporary course of antibiotics.Anyone experienced the same issue? Please tell me there is a loophole he doesn't know about.:(
