[B&A] Struggled with acne my whole life... now, not so much, thanks to this sub

Beauty Tips For Body Care
First post on this thread! Hi! Wanted to share my love and appreciation for all y'all helpful people on here.A little skin backstory: I have always had dry skin like the desert, never could find a good routine, and never liked taking my makeup off before bed. St. Ives was my face's best friend every other day! You're cringing, I know. I have struggled with dreaded cystic acne ever since I can remember - I'm sure it's genetic, my dad had it bad and unfortunately has the scars to show it. I have also struggled with picking at my face. I never had a real face washing routine as a teenager and could quite literally spend an hour in front of the mirror squeezing and poking my poor face. It's an uphill battle when you're unwilling to create a routine and then expect your face to magically get better. In the pictures I have when I was 15-18, you can see that my acne as a kid was not nearly as "bad" as some, but it quite frankly was the bane of my existence and picking left me some pretty gnarly marks.Anyway, fast-forward to the here and now! Over the last couple of months, I was introduced to and have been perusing this sub for anything skincare and came across the oil cleansing method. I fell absolutely in love. Over the last three weeks or so I have been so much happier with my skin and really keeping to a routine. I'm actually excited to get up and cleanse my face, and taking off the day's makeup feels so GOOD!Lil routine I have: Oil cleanse morning and night with a little bottle of sesame seed oil that I found at Whole Foods, less than $8 I believe Moisturize with an oil-free moisturizer by CVS, cheap cheap! Glycolic acid wash by CVS twice a week to keep it nice and fresh, around $12 but so worth itI am nearly 21 and I can't believe it took me this long to find something that actually works and makes me feel like a million bucks. Thank you for anything helpful and positive you've ever said on this thread, guys. You are really looking out for other people.Pics: http://imgur.com/a/0fpQU
