[Routine help] A saleswoman made me feel bad that I didn't let my mom buy their 150$ face mask. It made me realise I need to help my mom's skin, but don't know where to start.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
First, a little rant.We were at a beauty exhibition recently and a woman (probably cosmetologist) stopped us and got talking about my mom's skin. She has had a full face of red blemishes/acne for a few years. She has gone to dermatologist, but nothing has helped. Then this woman starts speaking about how their products are so good, she even put that mask on one side of her face and claimed that it will help instantly. Of course, when she took it off, she told "see, it looks a lot better!", but it looked the same. She was good at speaking, made it seem like their product is the holy grail, that other products aren't as good as their were. And, of course, their products are in 150-300$ price range. I believe that their products are good, but not worth the price. You could get the same results with products a lot cheaper than that. She claimed that she had graduated medical school, so she knows that she's talking about (I doubt it, as she put a product on my hand and after a minute she rubbed it off and claimed that it was my dead skin coming off. Silly, since I wash my hands a lot and it wasn't possible that that much amount of skin was coming off of my hand). My mom was skeptic, but at the end she thought maybe she could try and asked me what I thought. I said the saleswoman that we will think about it. Then she had the audacity to tell my that I didn't care about my mom (???) in a passive aggressive tone. For a minute I actually felt bad and thought that maybe she was right? But then my logical mind kicked in and thought that in no way a specialist would recommend a product that much and even offend the customer's daughter if they actually cared about the skin and not about selling the product. Even a bigger reason to not buy their products.-- End of the rant--So, on to my mom's skin. She's 53 and for a few years has had a red face(similar to rosacea) and acne. She's using bioderma micellar water to cleanse, don't know about the moisturizer, but probably something for sensitive/red skin. I think she had the test results made that confirmed she had demodex mite on her skin, so she probably uses some treatment for that also. She has been battling that for ages and now I just want to help her.
