[Skin Concern] Began a routine, moved to a new apartment…my skin, especially my eyes, are not happy. Suggestions?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Sorry in advance for how long this is, I’ve been a lurker forever & learned so much from you all! I’ve always had decent skin, never used anything other than Elizabeth Arden skin balancing lotion+argan oil for dry spots for years without any problems. This winter I started getting some really flaky patches and wanted to begin a routine. A friend helped me with samples and for AM&PM got it down to:Ren ever calm gentle cleansing milk—>argan oil—> cerave. I’ve incorporated an AHA (Sunday Riley good genes) and toner (pix by Petra glow tonic) a few times so far but they both seem to sting my face so I’m gonna take my time take playing around with those for now. Still learning….the sidebar helps :)I know you’re not doctors, and I have seen a doctor for my dry eyes (he gave me drops) but I’m not sure if some ingredient in the new routine is related to what’s happening to my eyes. In the last 2 weeks, my skin has still been red/ sorta blotchy (less dry & flaky, though) left and right of the nose, and this week my eyes feel completely screwed up. Red rimmed eyelids, painfully bloodshot, constantly burning, under eye bags are more pronounced. This past week AM & PM I have used a combo of cold cucumbers, cold green tea bags, massages, compresses, frozen spoons, tear drops, all things I learned from subs here. So far, nothing helps. No allergies that I know of, can’t tie the timeline in with any specific product. The eyes don’t just burn in the morning, they burn ALL DAY. Like sandpaper and glass are inside them. So sunken and glossy. I look hungover. I have eye strain from job/computer work but that shouldn’t explain the heavy bags, right? I somehow can't wrap my head around computer eye strain being THIS intense.I originally thought it was b/c I had more drinks than usual last Friday night and was retaining water the next two days, being gross & puffy. But it’s been a week and I haven’t touched alcohol since, been drinking a ton of water, getting a good amount of sleep& have been eating well. Is it possible too much booze could make my skin/undereyes look like this?Last thing of note: I just moved to a new apartment about over month ago and I’ve been stressed. Air in the apartment is very dry b/c of the radiator.. Looking to get a humidifier this weekend to see if it helps ( I would need a warm mist one but can’t decide on one…) but I wanted to ask for advice here because I’m miserable. I have not stopped using my routine I mentioned above b/c I figured those products are gentle? I don’t know anymore. Do you think maybe my life/face is being sucked out of me by the air in my apartment? The flakes still bug me, but they aren't as concerning as what my eyes look like to me. Pics are below. These were taken after cleansing, moisturizing and using cold spoons under the eyes for 4 mins each. They looked the same before and after. :( I know I probably just look really “tired” but I got 7 hours of sleep and was not tired when I took these:http://imgur.com/fm0bMrT (do I look as sad as I feel?)http://imgur.com/BM8V2DQAny help would be appreciated! I am still learning a lot so I could use all the suggestions I could get. Product recommendations or any advice for relief…ALSO sorry, this is my first time posting here and it’s a novel. thank you!TLDR; started a new routine for dry, flaky, red patches about a month ago. I think the routine is helping with flakes and hydration, but redness, eye bags &painfully dry eyes flared up this week. Trying to figure out what it could be / looking for suggestions
