[Skin Concerns] My The Ordinary Vitamin C suspension burned the crap out of my face last night. Please help

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Skincare routine:Morning: Wash face with CeraVe foaming. Tone with Thayer's rose petal witch hazel alcohol free toner. Put on CeraVe Day Cream with retinol and sunscreen (Bioré UV Perfect Skin Milk).Night: Take off makeup with Pond's Cold Cream and wipes. Tone with Thayer's. Alternate between exfoliating with Drunk Elephants TLC Framboos AHA blend and using The Ordinary Vitamin C suspension cream. Moisturize with MAC Lightful C moisturizer.Ok, now that that's out of the way I've been googling all morning and can't find answers so now I'm here.I've been using The Ordinary's Vitamin C suspension cream for months now without issue. I'm on my third bottle. It does tingle sometimes when I put it on but I assume that's the absorbic acid.I wanted to incorporate The Ordinary's hylauronic acid and B5 serum into my routine. After two days of spot testing without issue last night I put it on, prior to any creams as the bottle said. I noticed the Vitamin C suspension burning way more than normal under my eyes. This morning I woke up and my undereyes are red, puffy and are still burning, especially to the touch.I feel like it has to be the introduction of my CeraVe Day Cream with retinol or the hylauronic acid with B5 that caused this reaction. But I don't understand because I've used other retinoids in conjunction with the Vitamin C suspension before and my skin has never reacted like this. I have also used hylauronic acid before, though not in a serum, without any problems.Do any of you have any ideas as to what happened? I'm scared to do anything to my skin now; this is the worst reaction to skincare I've ever had.
