Beauty Tips For Body Care
Profile:Male, 16Dry / Acne-Prone SkinBrown (Asian Indian) SkinPrimary Concerns: Acne, Hyperpigmentation, DrynessI started a simple skincare routine a few weeks ago, consisting of a Cleanser and Moisturizer. However, I found that although the acne around my cheeks was clearing almost immediately, I was developing Closed Comedones on my forehead. I then added a BHA and an AHA, and although some of the CCs disappeared, they still remained. I was frustrated about it, but I just hoped they'd go away with time.I was at CVS a few days ago, and I saw Aquaphor. I bought at 14 dollars it not expecting much. At night, after I finished my Routine, I slathered it liberally across my face and went to bed. Although it was uncomfortable as my face felt warm and I couldn't turn in certain positions as the oil couldn't touch my pillows, I woke up and I was astonished. My skin was incredibly hydrated, and it seemed to glow. This is the first time I've ever experienced that! Somehow, the CCs on my forehead were disappearing, and to top it all off, two whiteheads, which I had been treating with Benzoyl Peroxide with little success, had shrunk! I also applied it to my constantly chapped lips, and they were hydrated and smooth by the morning! Aquaphor is an incredible nighttime moisturizer.TL;DR: Aquaphor is literally the Nectar of the Gods, but you still probably shouldn't drink it.Current Routine:AM:Wash Face with Microfiber to remove AquaphorBrush TeethApply Cleanser with CeraVe Foaming CleanserTake a ShowerTone with Thayer's Witch Hazel Rose-Petal TonerMoisturize with CeraVe Moisturizing CreamPM:Brush Teeth & MouthwashCleanse with CeraVe Foaming CleanserBHA: Paula's Choice 2% BHAAHA: Paula's Choice 8% AHABenzoyl Peroxide: CLEAR Skin Clearing Treatment (2.5%)Aquaphor
