[Product Question] Is Vitamin C more like an AHA, BHA, or neither?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Vitamin C is called a mild exfoliatant because of its pH, and the chief difference between BHA and AHA seem to be that the former is oil soluble, while the latter is water soluble. Since Vitamin C is water soluble, does it mean it's more like an AHA? What implications would that have? For instance, vitamin C is encouraged for use in both day and night because antioxidants are photoprotective, but if it's like an AHA wouldn't it be somewhat photosensitizing too? Does that mean that, if you ever use vitamin C then another exfoliator, it should be BHA because it's oil soluble, as opposed to water doluble?
